Tour Itinerary

Enjoy a 6-hour excursion to the 4 Islands just off the coast from Ao Nang. The 7 “islands” include several rocks, in addition to what most people would call islands (with beaches, surrounded by water). 7 refers to the number of stops made (Koh Tan Ming – Koh Si – Tup Islets – Chicken Island – Poda Beach – Railay Beach – plankton stop)

For those who enjoy a lie in, pick-up is the early afternoon from locations in Krabi, Ao Nang, and Railay Beach with its beautiful beach on the peninsula with spectacular limestone cliffs and staggering stalagmites and stalactites.

Phra Nang Cave – Visit the famous “Phallus Shrine” in a cave which is famous for its wonderful stalactites and stalagmites. Since ancient times it has been respected and worshiped by the local people.

Koh Tan Ming & Koh Si – Head out to the islands, where you will swim and snorkel at Koh Tan Ming, the rock island in front of Poda, before heading around the island and over to Koh Si. This rocky outcrop has many underwater reefs and caves, and tends to offer better snorkeling amd a more varied species of fish than other island.

Chicken Island – The name comes from the unusual shape of the island which also has many small rock formations around the big chicken shaped rock. There is several beautiful coral reefs which are great for snorkeling. This very scenic and idyllic location is a great spot for taking photos.

Tup Island – Koh Tup along with Koh Mor are two tiny islands separated by a sea pathway of sand through the sea bed. As the tide recedes, the sea is gradually separated by the white sand and limestone beach that will appear to amazingly connect the two islands at low tide. Still one of Thailand’s unseen highlights and a once in a lifetime experience.

Poda Island – A small island with beautiful white, sandy beach and crystal clear waters. You will enjoy a buffet dinner of Thai food and BBQ skewers. There’s plenty of opportunity for more photographs as you watch the sun go down over the islands. After dark, the crew will entertain you with a fire dancing show under the stars.

After Dark Snorkeling – Stop in certain open water spots and see the phosphorescent plankton light up in the water all around you as you swim.

Tour’s Program

Krabi Town @ 11.45 (+100 Baht) || Tubkaek & Klong Muang @ 11.45 (+100 Baht)|| Ao Nang @ 12.30 – 08.30 || Ao Nam Mao @ 12.50
Railay (meeting point) @ 14.15. Departing from the mainland around 1.30pm, and stopping to pick up guests at Railay, the first stop is Phra Nang Cave Beach. Then it’s time to head out to the islands, where you will swim and snorkel at Koh Tan Ming – the rock island in front of Poda – before heading around the island for a spot of cliff jumping (for those brave enough to try it – it’s strictly optional and just as entertaining to watch).

Next stop is Koh Si, a rocky outcrop with many underwater reefs and caves that offers a bit better snorkeling than the average. There’ll be a photo op around the head of Chicken Island before the next stop at Koh Tub for some beach time or (at low tide) a walk across the spectacular sandbank that connects it to Chicken and Mor Islands nearby.

Enjoy sunset on the beach at Poda Island (National Park fee / 400 THB per person, payable in cash on the day). There’s plenty of opportunity for photographs as you watch the sun go down over the islands.
After dark, you will head back to the mainland for a sit-down buffet meal at East Railay Beach and fire show (no view). Beer is available for an additional cost.
After dinner, there will likely be a fire show. Then you will head to the shore off Phra Nang Cave. Here, if you are lucky, you can obtain a radioactive glow, or leave a trail of sparkles in the water by swimming with the harmless phosphorescent plankton (sea conditions permitting). Please be aware the sea in Krabi can get quite rough after dark, so this trip may not be suitable for those who are prone to seasickness.
